The 2011 Toyota Matrix is available in three different styles: the 1.8-L 4-cylinder 5-speed manual, 1.8-: 4-cylinder 4-speed automatic and Sport 2.4-L 4-cylinder 5-speed automatic. The Matrix, with a manual transmission, receives an EPA estimated 26mpg city and 32 mpg highway. The 4-speed automatic receives an EPA estimated 25 mpg city and 31 mpg highway. The 5-speed automatic receives an EPA estimated 21 mpg city and 29 mpg highway.
