The 2011 Toyota Corolla comes in three different trims, the basic Corolla, LE and S. All three trims come standard with a 1.9-L DOHC 16-Valve 4-Cylinder with Dual Variable Valve Timing with intelligence (WT-i) engine. The basic and S trims have a standard 5-speed manual transmission, though the 4-speed Electronically Controlled automatic Transmission with intelligence (ECT-i) is available. The Corolla LE comes standard with 4-speed ECT-i. The basic and S trim styles, with manual transmission, receive an EPA estimated 28 mpg city and 35 mpg highway. Each trim style with an automatic transmission receives an EPA estimated 26 mpg city and 24 mpg highway.
